I would say you can’t make this stuff up, but apparently if you are Republican you are ignorant enough to do just that. This is what happens because they don’t support sex education in schools. Let’s hope this ignorance extends to not actually knowing how to pass on their genes.
When I see statements like these I always wonder: are they really that stupid or are they just lying? It’s hard to tell.
Of course Republicans have really amped up the lying to convince voters that forcing women to give birth is actually good for them because of all the support they’ll be getting from Republican states who are so “pro family.”
You have to lie when Red states have infant mortality rates approaching those of third world countries and invest next to nothing in social services.
But let’s not fool ourselves. There are people out there who actually believe that women can actually control whether they get pregnant after sex. During the Middle Ages it was believed women could even control the sex of the baby. Which gives you a good idea of where conservatives thinking is stuck.
Also no iud’s or emergency contraception for rape victims potentially because they were labeled abortifacients by the trump administration. Women don’t realize the amount of horror they are about to endure and the mainstream media still promotes the both sides angle. We are in serious trouble
The way Roe was overturned makes rape legal. These examples show that these Republicans believe rape does not exist: may be this is how they treat their wives.
