My married boss was carrying on a flagrant affair and my job description included covering for his frequent absences. He mocked my "women's lib" activities & my chances of finding a husband - for years. Then one day his daughter, whose credentials were impeccable, was not allowed to (have a specific job) and when she called her daddy crying, he hung up, turned to me and screamed, THIS IS UNFAIR! THIS SHOULD BE AGAINST THE LAW! THIS IS RIDICULOUS! "etc. ending with "Can't YOU DO SOMETHING?" Until it's someone they see as human being harmed, they won't change. So we will have a lot of harm before there is a lot of change, and Gerri lives through your remembrance.
