Texas hasn’t had death by electric chair since 1964 but perhaps this is a metaphor?

I’m mad at you for tempting me into clicking on the idiotic frank barry article- “you know who didn’t have harsh words on abortion the last 3 Dems that won, Biden barely mentioned it” oh reaaaaahhhhhhhheaheally Barry- you mean BEFORE. Roe was overturned and I had bodily autonomy still? This wack job has an agenda or his logical reasoning skills and selective use of data wouldn’t be so bad

Unsaid but implied by RFK, Jr.:" I won't accept any studies that do not confirm my own or President Trump 's uninformed, ignorant opinions on abortion medication."

He's another misogynist who's probably paid for inconvenient pregnancies to be terminated. JMHO, of course

So -- regarding RFK's stammered, incoherent response to Senator Baldwin's question on mifepristone, I gather that the 100+ peer-reviewed studies attesting to its safety are not sufficient in the face of what? The Trump administration's policies? Politics over science. Yay. Good to know. Thank you, Senator Baldwin, for your questions which made this reality quite clear. And thank you, Jessica, for posting their interaction.

I am baffled and angered by the sorts of poll results you cite here:

"1) Most Trump voters don’t believe he will further restrict abortion and don’t want him to, and 2) Anti-abortion groups are very unpopular, even among Trump voters."

People did not understand what DT's big-money backers want him to do. They believed his lies about "leaving abortion to the states" and did not comprehend the meaning of the Supremacy Clause. I don't know how to get through.

Stranger yet, he convinced people that, “Giving it back to the states” was some sort of favor. It literally means taking the choice away from you and giving it to the government instead (state or whatever). Polarization is so bad that people think they are winning just to watch their “opponents” AKA fellow citizens suffer. Hell, even having to suffer a little themselves seems to be worth it!

WTF do marriage and birth rates have to do with transportation? Married people need better roads than anyone else? Just when I think Republicans can’t surprise me anymore — oops, they did it again.

There is no floor for pro-natalists and forced birthers.

“I truly never want to see another call for Democrats to have a ‘big tent’ on abortion rights. Sorry, but there’s no room in my tent for someone who doesn’t believe I’m a full human being.” This. Thank you, Jessica.

Word. BTW , Dems already have that big tent. It's this: Don't believe in abortion? DON'T HAVE ONE. NO ONE is abduction pregnant women and forcing them to have abortions.
