Ugh all of this is horrible, but to the last section about "crisis centers" - when I sought abortion care here in NYC, when I googled to find where I should go, it was PAGES of "crisis centers" and pro-life propaganda. Literally zero of them were abortion clinics. I had to wade through pages of disinformation because these fucks spend so much $$$ on SEO. It should be illegal. But of course, its not.

"Even though they grow weary and wear themselves out with child-bearing, it does not matter; let them go on bearing children till they die, that is what they are there for.”

~ Martin Luther (16th century Protestant, precursor to Lutheran church)

^^ THIS is what these religious zealot men think of us.

Have we yet seen the first murders of pregnant girls and women who, desperate enough, go for the unqualified abortionist due to the inaccessibility of abortion pills and physicians? Back to pre-Roe days! DEATH BY HEMORRAHGE from punctured or lacerated uterine wall OR DEATH BY INFECTION, BLOOD POISONING, SEPSIS, and (finally) ORGAN FAILURE caused by ignorance about preparing an antiseptic operative field/instruments. This is the result of involuntary servitude of girls and women between puberty and menopause (forced labor of pregnancy in the uterine field - not the cotton field), followed by rape of the vagina (from the inside out - not from the outside in) for forced reproduction of our species vs. for forced sex. Time to stop the wishy-washy language re autonomy and privacy! It's time to understand that we're dealing with female slave labor in the uterine field, followed by raping the female slave for forced birth. Rape, in general, is the exercise of possession, dominance, and control over intensely personal aspects of a human BEING, examples of which are sexual, reproductive, and mental (often versions of religious doctrines). Just right for authoritarian clergy, not limited to Roman Catholic and Southern Baptist, who obsess over reproduction. Christianity gets an undeserved bad rap since the idea that "There is a Spirit of Life in The Product of Conception" seems to have started as an invented doctrine by Pythagoras, the great ancient pre-Christian mathematician, who was determined to create a new religion superior to others he was aware of. That Pythagorean idea was absorbed into Christianity, but was not created within Christianity. (Anyone who has a different view of the Ensoulment doctrine, please comment.) Constitutionally, we have violations of the First and Thirteenth Amendments of that radical US constitution (Western Enlightenment - Self-determination, Individualism, Liberty). Don't expect the pro-Vatican Supreme Court to agree. Would anyone like to spread the basic thrust of this piece (slavery labor and rape) into the wider ongoing political argument around the nation?

We need to be tracking these deaths. We should start now because the data is just coming out. I am happy to help.

Thank you for sharing Amari Marsh's story. We are supposed to be the greatest country on the planet, but this is how we treat people who need us. I will donate to her GoFund me.

Every time I hear anything in the news whether it is print or broadcast about something that Joshua Hawley has done/said I just cringe and feel like I need to apologize.

Watching Kamala Harris answer questions from black journalists say “We must restore the protections of Roe” and not answer the direct question, twice asked, if that includes the restrictions to abortion under Roe. Maybe that means she wants more than Roe and doesn’t feel comfortable saying that now. Or maybe not.

Here in Michigan the large Catholic groups went crazy in the last month or so posting large signs which said Prop 3 would allow "sex change operations" against the parents' will. It was all bullshit, of course, but it did cause the polling to drop by something like 7 percentage points. This nonsense propaganda works, and they're doing it now in Missouri. They know the trans hatred mobilizes voters.

KH's campaign should keep building these videos with all the women who have suffered and who have died because of lack of care. BTW, the idiot in the video is one of trump's P2025 guy who worked in his WH.

I want to remind everyone that trump doesn’t have to sign a national abortion ban. Remember, he’s gone on at length about how much he loves acting positions because they don’t require senate confirmation. All he needs are acting heads of fda & doj to rescind approval for mife & miso then enforce the comstock act.

The outrage. There's so much of it, it's hard to know where to turn for peace.

"Committees like the one in Georgia, set up in each state, often operate with a two-year lag behind the cases they examine, meaning that experts are only now beginning to delve into deaths that took place after the Supreme Court overturned the federal right to abortion."

https://www.propublica.org/article/georgia-abortion-ban-amber-thurman-death?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email

So the lag in the reporting, all the time that goes by while women are suffering.

Just disgusting.

Talk to people you know because media/press won't. Various groups are trying and trying really hard but the 'made to order outrage' (h/t Maddow) that he generates everyday is all that CNN or NYT talks about. These groups take two steps forward to save our country and CNN with Scott Jennings and his ilk pushes us back everyday.

When "Savitha" happened in Ireland, they felt shame and they course corrected from their medieval practices and attitudes (and she was an immigrant) but here we are in this country. How many more deaths have to happen in this vast country for it to feel the same shame?

I’m saddened by the death of yet another person because of abortion bans. But I will not give up fighting. Not even here in Texas. Not even if Trump wins. First I will vote blue up and down the ticket. I will never give up. I owe it to the cause and for Amber. I must direct my anger toward solutions.

In summary, Women are dying and tRump has survived 2 assassination attempts. That’s all I got.
