I'm so thankful to be in a state that's requiring masks and for educators to be vaccinated. Still...dreading the inevitable exposures, quarantining, zoom, and god-forbid Covid. Also so much anxiety about sending him to 1st grade after a year of zoom-kinder and worrying how many more behavior issues are going to pop up while we sit on the waitlist for a new therapist.
You are a good parent. You have done your best to prepare your daughter and now you are not holding your her back from the experiences that will help her grow stronger.
My youngest child is 41, my oldest 51. I felt like I couldn’t take a deep breath until I knew they were all double vaccinated. Worrying about one’s children is not something that goes away as they get older. You just hide it better.
I saw a report that if your kid can handle an N95/KN95 npw that they’re available that’s the way to go, bc of the electrostatic barrier they have, that cloth masks don’t. I wish I could do more than pass that on.
I hear this, too. I've never been so relieved that my kids are young adults and not in the school system right now, especially since here in Oregon, there are school districts that are actively resisting mask mandates and actively offering resources to those who want to defy the public health requirements. Several districts in the Eugene area have new superintendents and boards that are openly defying the mask mandates. It's like they're not going to be happy until their kids are offered up as some kind of sacrificial lambs. It is beyond enraging.
The only school where we are has two of three teachers who are anti vax, and one of the EAs is, too. I don’t want to send my 6 year old, and we homeschooled (not very well) last year - but now my partner’s work has changed so he is out of the house, and I am still working from home and can’t figure out how to work and teach my totally isolated kid alone. I’m so frustrated teachers aren’t mandated to be vaccinated and all this is placed on the shoulders of parents. All to say, I feel your pain.

My heart goes out to all the parents who are going through this. I feel for you. (and I can't believe she's in 6th grade already).
