I thought my head was going to explode when John Seago claimed the problem is dumb doctors after a few months ago he arrogantly said nothing can be done until fetal heartbeat stops.
Has anyone ever raised the question of the impact of these heartbeat bills on organ transplantation? Not to mention, and I’ll repeat myself, none of these laws are based on anything but the view of an 14th century pope.
Even where health care is legal we have municipal officials blocking permits. How do we stop people in this country from denying health care to others? How do we make it unthinkable? If there's a way other than getting rid of all of the people who are doing it, I'd like to hear it. I'm 45 years old. Will I live to see the day it stops? Will generational change ever be enough?
These laws are written as convoluted as possible for the explicit purpose of putting doctors on trial when they do perform life-saving abortions so courts can determine the procedure was actually warranted. They explicitly said that's what the intention of these laws are but then claim that they aren't interfering in care? These people are talking out both sides of their mouths.
I wrote to my Governor Hockul NYS to withdraw NYS from doing business with Walgreens. Please everyone write to your officials.

Fetal personhood enshrined in the constitution has always been their end game. With our awful SCOTUS, it could very well happen.
