All life is equal until it isn’t. To them, some life is more valuable than others. They’re the ones who decide.

I have to be honest, I don’t know why women continue to “self-handmaid.” Here in Texas the GOP politicians just laugh

at them and look forward to when they’ll see all Texas women dress that way. I’d like to see women dress as

liberated Joan ready to take down Gilead.

I have a solution. All infant males should be given a vasectomy. Someday, if a woman wants to get pregnant, the male could have a reversal. What? White male republicans don't think this is fair, that the government MUST NOT tell men what to do with their reproductive equipment? Pass this law immediately!! It would solve a lot of problems, not all, but some .

If you listen to their words such as calling abortion “murder” it makes perfect sense that they also want to see punishment of the so-called “murderer”. They have been saying this all along. I’m pretty sure some republicans are even unsure about what position they are finding themselves right now. They wanted to court those votes. It was fine when it was hypothetical. It’s the same thing with justifying capital punishment. There is no consistency and there will never be any consistency.

On the Virginia report by republicans that someone, somewhere helped not one, but two, high school students to get abortions, I'll take "things that never happened, that only idiots believe" for 300, Alex.

Unless young women have become completely different than any I've known, TPUSA is trashing their own brand with this. Even evangelical young women get abortions when they "need" the help. They are trashing their own brand, IF there are voices to spread the word where this is going.

And on that chilling note, godspeed to the University of Alabama chapter of Generation Action Planned Parenthood who evidentially have been tabling on the UA quad EVERY WEEK to:

- Reduce abortion stigma.

- Rally activists for reproductive freedom.

- Increase public awareness regarding reproductive health and rights.

- Inform members of our community about sexual health.

- Prioritize inclusivity, elections, and trans inclusion.

Upcoming sessions listed here for any UA students: https://calendar.ua.edu/group/planned_parenthood_generation_action

“If you take the life of a human being, unjustly, then what the state owes you—if it’s proven and it’s true—is capital punishment. You forfeit your right to live.” We are looking at this in a much too narrow focus. If someone drives while intoxicated, causes a wreck, and kills someone then it follows from this statement that that driver should be executed. Think of it - you kill someone, unjustly - you are tried for capital murder. No manslaughter, vehicular homicide, or accidental death charge - just if you kill someone without legal justification then it is capital murder. The stupidity of this statement is beyond belief.

In a similar vein, if the inseminator in a sexual act that results in a pregnancy is granted rights over the body of the inseminated then it seems to me that the inseminator should have to provide financial support to the inseminated.

A solution might be to insist that unless both the biological father and biological mother agree that she should bear the child, then abortion should be mandatory. So if a woman wants an abortion then anything that stood in her way would be criminal. The down side is if she wanted to bear the child, but the biological father did not want her to, abortion would be state enforced. Surrogate mothers would qualify as biological mothers in this case.

But that’s not really the point. The point is that women are baby factories and in their warped view it all falls on them.

Your last point is logical, if they force a person to carry a fetus to term, they should be willing to see that the resulting lifeform does not starve, or suffer, as a result. But somehow making the sperm donor pay is never a consideration, because the Theocratic mafia want more (white) babies, and that might limit their (forced) breeding program.

Can Oklahoma practitioners sue? This gag order sounds illegal. A group of them would need to sue together so as not to be individually targeted.
