Wondering if you’ve seen this , Jessica. More horrors against women!

Haven't seen too many threads on AED with this level of response.

Whether you've experienced pregnancy loss or not, it's a very emotional issue for women and the ones closest to them. That's why it's so infuriating to see uncaring strangers intrude themselves into these awful situations, and in the cruelest ways, when simple kindness and charity would be the obvious response instead.

Makes you wonder why some people choose to behave like this.

Hey, Jessica...for the record, on Mallori's case: It wasn't a crisis pregnancy center that somehow obtained her fetus and did the publicity stunt funeral. It was Eagle's Flight Advocacy & Outreach -- the owner is Pam Allen, this weirdo who was instrumental in getting those fire station baby boxes installed in San Antonio, and somehow inserts herself into all these fetal demise cases.

I'm doing an investigative series on this horrific story from the angle of Pam Allen's seemingly unethical relationship with local authorities, and I'm uncovering some really creepy stuff so far (but also being stonewalled a bit on my requests - go figure). Anyway, "Miscarriage of Justice" is my series. Please follow for a deep dive into wtf happened with this one, including the local media's complicity in misinformation about Mallori's case!

Thank you for calling our attention to these awful cases, Jessica...we probably wouldn't hear about them otherwise.

Not just adding insult to injury, but injustice and discrimination! I’m about to travel abroad and feel so much shame about our American disgrace.

Why in the fuck did law enforcement release the biohazardous waste that dead human tissue is, to a whacko bunch, of non-related, forced-birthers? It should be incinerated in a biohazard disposal plant. Those crazy nutters keep fetuses in jars in their refrigerator like that one crazy bitch did, who combover Caligula pardoned, of course.

We need to support the legal defense of women who are being criminalized in this way. This is one concrete thing we can do. Overall, we cannot accept the un-American actions of the Christian Right. We need mass actions and disruption. A national strike is in order.

What strikes me is that a woman is facing a longer sentence for the way she disposed of fetal remains than men get for convictions of rape and child molesting.

Well said. 😳

Let’s see what Diddy gets now. Jury of 8 men and 4 women because apparently if you know someone who was sexually assaulted, you’re BIASED. Wild eh?

All of which is what the forced-birthers want, they see themselves in every rapist and molester.

Legal system working exactly how it was designed- for men’s benefit

I await the day when some rich white Republican girl is arrested after having a miscarriage. Mostly I think it will never happen, but part of me hopes it does so they can finally understand what their draconian laws do to the poor and defenseless.

So many white women said loud and clear with their vote, “I don’t care about you!”

They will find out they are no exception.

Not surprising, but hateful and inhumane actions once again coming from antiabortion folks. Truly vile and sickening behavior 🤮

About that...these stats? I just found them on UK yahoo. "From 1977 to 2020 in America, anti-abortion activists committed at least 11 murders, 26 attempted murders, 956 threats of harm or death, 624 stalking incidents and four kidnappings, according to data collected by the National Abortion Federation. They have bombed 42 abortion clinics, set 194 on fire, attempted to bomb or burn an additional 104 and made 667 bomb threats." https://uk.news.yahoo.com/anti-abortion-movement-killed-people-094505241.html?

Cloaked in a veil of righteousness, the so-called “pro-life” motherfuckers have unleashed waves of hate that are the exact opposite of the christian values they claim to believe in.

Ethereal Fairy's avatar

Yes, they certainly have, and I just can’t accept any of it as genuine since it started in my lifetime.

What has happened in conservative states since SCOTUS overturned Roe v Wade sickens me. I console myself watching “Call the Midwife,” which has done society a real service by showing again and again the human side of abortion bans — the deaths, the arrests, the infertility and always the shame. I’d love to force those legislators to watch every episode if I thought it would make a difference.

Not remotely surprising to see this happen in the county where I grew up. My former Christian Nationalist church has a chokehold on that area. I'm sure they're cheering this arrest like the radicalized religious extremists they are.
